VariantForgeCATALOG TOOLS

FOR WOOCOMMERCE STORE BUILDERS

One supplier file.
Proper variations.

Group sizes and colors under the right parent product. Check the details before they reach your store.

01

Read your supplier file

Use one row per actual variation, a shared parent SKU, and the same product name within each group. Export your spreadsheet as UTF-8 CSV.

Or paste CSV text

Start with your file or explore six sample variations.

FROM SUPPLIER FILE TO STAGING STORE

A small workflow, with clear boundaries.

1

Prepare the source

Give each parent its own SKU and each variation a different SKU. Repeat the parent name. Keep prices free of currency symbols and thousands separators.

2

Check the relationships

The workbench flags duplicate SKUs, conflicting names, repeated size/color combinations, inconsistent capitalization, and malformed prices. It won’t invent missing variants.

3

Import in two passes

In WooCommerce → Products → Import, import the parent file first, then the variation file. Leave “Update existing products” unchecked for these new products. Check column mappings and the import report.

Start with a small staging import. This early release follows the core WooCommerce CSV schema; the generated sample passed an actual import test on WooCommerce 11.1.0 / WordPress 7.1. It cannot check existing SKUs in your store, plugin behavior, or your store settings. See the official import guide.

Before you import

Will it clean or silently change my product data?

It blocks whitespace problems and conflicting values so you can correct the source. With comma decimals selected, numeric prices are converted to the dot format for export. Leading zeroes in SKUs are preserved. Parent attribute lists and variation display names are generated from your mapped data.

What is outside this first version?

Existing-product updates, scheduled imports, images, descriptions, categories, global taxonomy attributes, multi-value variation cells, and a direct store connection. Commas, pipes, and backslashes inside attribute values are blocked. No imported content is run as HTML.

What happens to my file?

Its contents remain in this tab’s memory and are discarded when you close or reload the page. Downloaded files remain on your device. We don’t store your CSV, use advertising trackers, or collect email addresses. The hosting provider processes ordinary request information needed to serve the website. See the privacy notice.
