Updated September 9, 2026. These notes explain the early release’s intended use. The offline edition is sold through our Gumroad listing. The listing and purchase receipt identify the seller and provide purchase support.

What the tool does

VariantForge prepares CSV files for new variable products using the core WooCommerce CSV structure. It does not connect to, inspect, or modify your store. Trial exports support up to 10 source variation rows; the offline edition supports up to 20,000 rows and 5 MB per source file.

What you need to verify

Use data you have permission to process. Keep a backup and test on staging. Confirm existing SKU conflicts, importer mappings, generated names, prices, stock, attributes, and all store-level tax and shipping settings. Import parents first, then variations. Draft parents need deliberate review before publication.

Early release

The output has automated format checks and the generated sample passed a disposable WooCommerce 11.1.0 / WordPress 7.1 import test. That test covered draft parents, enabled variations, parent links, attributes, prices, and stock. It may be incompatible with extensions, older versions, customized importers, global attributes, or existing products. A successful local check does not guarantee a successful import. Keep the source file and review your store’s import report.

Ownership and affiliation

You retain ownership of your input and generated catalog data. VariantForge is independent of WooCommerce and Automattic. Their names identify the supported format and do not imply endorsement.

Paid edition

The $49 USD one-time purchase license covers one operator and their client catalog work, with continued use of the purchased version. Resale or redistribution of the workbench is not included. No subscription, future feature promises, or lifetime support promise is offered. Request a refund within 14 days of purchase through your Gumroad receipt.
